Concept introduction: Amino acids are the main building blocks of proteins. Amino acids that participate in peptide bond synthesis in proteins are known as standard amino acids. Proteins are natural biopolymers. A large number of amino acids condense together to form a polypeptide chain. A large polypeptide chain is called protein. Proteins upon complete digestion give amino acids.
