Four-firm Concentration Ratio: This is the ratio of the combined market shares of the four largest firms to the whole market size calculated by adding the market shares of the four largest firms.

Eight-firm Concentration Ratio: This is the ratio of the combined market shares of the eight largest firms to the whole market size calculated by adding the market shares of the eight largest firms.

Herfindahl-Hirschman Index: It is a commonly used measure of concentration in an industry. It is measured by squaring the market share of each firm competing in the market and then summing them up.
