Question
Chapter 26.18, Problem 26P
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation:
Electrostatic attraction between lysine and a standard amino acid other than aspartic acid, analogous to the salt bridge between aspartic acid and arginine is to be shown.
Concept Introduction:
Oppositely charged groups from two amino acids are attracted to each other by the electrostatic forces in an interaction known as a salt-bridge.
This interaction is one of the important interactions responsible for the tertiary structure of proteins.

In a paragraph form provide the experimental procedure of the reaction of oxazetidine-containing peptides and α-ketoacid that will result in protein that contain native serine residues
Glycine solution was titrated against NaOH and pH of the final solution was 4.8. Given that the pKa¹ and pKa² of glycine are 2.34 and 9.60, respectively. Calculate the concentration of the dissociated amino acid in terms of the undissociated amino acid, if [x] and [y] are the concentrations of dissociated and undissociated amino acid, respectively.
