Metamorphosis is a process, in which an animal exhibit multistage development and changes in the body structures and ultimately grows into an adult.
Pupa is a life stage of some insects such as a butterfly. It is characterized by a stage between an immature and adult phase of life. The body of the insect at this stage highly resembles to a moth.
A nymph is a developmental stage of the insects, in which the animal looks like an adult, but it is not sexually mature.
Caste is the division of individuals for different kind of work in eusocial animals. The group of animals involved in certain behaviour are referred to as one caste.
