Concept introduction: The three-dimensional structure of DNA is composed of four heterogeneous bases: adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine (C), and guanine (G). They form complementary base pairs. Adenine pairs with Thiamine and Cytosine pairs with Guanine. Hydrogen bonds join these bases.
