In biology, metamorphosis is a process, in which an organism changes its structure and undergoes two or more developmental stages to become an adult. In this process, the juvenile forms or the larval forms undergo a structural change by shedding some functions and adding some advancement to survive as an adult. This occurs in organisms, in which the early developmental phases look completely different from an adult.
