Summary Introduction
The H5N1 avian influenza is called as bird flu or avian flu. It is a variety of influenza that caused by viruses adapted to birds. These viral infections are spread from bird to bird. Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) is the type with the greatest risk. The bird flu is similar to dog flu, horse flu, swine flu and human flu as a disease caused by the strains of virus influenza that adjusted to specific hosts.
