Introduction:
Spirometry measures the function of lungs, and the amount and speed of air entering and leaving the lungs. It is one of the most common pulmonary function tests. It helps in the assessment of diseases, such as cystic fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, asthma, and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorders).
