To explain:
The most important components of the environment external to the organization that are of importance for managers in the business of movie theatres.
Introduction:
Any organization has to deal with both the internal and external environments in order to gain inputs and produce outputs using a process. The internal environment consists of the factors that are within the boundaries of the organization. Such boundaries may be physical as well as virtual, especially within the current business context where technology plays a vital role. The external environment consists of aspects that impact upon the performance of the organization, while being outside the organizational boundaries. Specific and general environments are the two components of the external environment. Specific external environmental factors such as competitors and suppliers could make a direct impact upon the organization. On the other hand, general factors such as technology and economic conditions are the ones that create a general impact upon business activities.
