Summary Introduction
Introduction: Amphipathic molecules are those molecules that have both a polar region as well as a nonpolar region. The polar region is usually hydrophilic and the nonpolar region is usually hydrophobic. C-C and C-H bonds are not polar as their electronegativities are not very different but other bonds such as the C-O bond is polar due to huge difference in the electronegativities of C and O.
