White fat, also termed as white adipose tissue, is a type of adipose tissue, which is found in the mammals. It comprises 25% of body mass innon obese women and 20% of the body mass of non obesemen.
Brown fat is another type of fat found in the human body. Newborns in humans and hibernating species have a high amount of brown fat deposits, as it turns food into heat energy.
