To describe: Two recently recognized sources of organic nitrogen in the open ocean.
Introduction: There are different species of cyanobacteria, which fixes organic nitrogen in water by the process of biological nitrogen fixation. The species of different cyanobacteria are Richelia intracellularis, Trichodesmium, Crocosphaera watsonii, and Synechococcus. These species of cyanobacteria are the sources of organic nitrogen in an open ocean.
