It is responsible for causing diseases like typhus, spotted fever, ehrlichiosis, and tick borne anaplasmosis Microorganisms like Rickettsia prowazekii, Rickettsia rickettsii and Ehrlichia chaffeensis are mainly responsible for causing such diseases.
