They are triploblastic animals and most of them have a true coelom and a tube-within-a-tube body plan. The Lophotrochozoa include the platyhelminthes (flatworms), rotifers, nemerteans, mollusks, annelids, and lophophorate phyla. Mollusks are divided into four clades, namely chitons, gastropods, bivalves, and cephalopods.
