Introduction:

The animals belonging to phylum Mollusca are referred to as mollusks or mollusks, which is the largest marine phylum. These are highly diverse both morphologically and anatomically. However, every member of this phylum shares a basic body plan: mantle, foot, visceral mass. Some species may have a shell as their outermost body covering or present internally.
