Chapter 31.3, Problem 1R
Summary Introduction
To review:
The variations in the cuticle thickness among the members of ecdysozoans.
Introduction:
Animals belonging to phylum Arthropoda, Priapulida, nematode, loricifera, and kinorhynch undergo periodic shedding (molting) of their outer cuticle layer during their body growth. This process of periodic molting is called as ecdysis and thus, the animals possessing this feature are referred to as ecdysozoans.
