Conduction is the process whereby the body surface loses or gains heat through direct contact with the cooler or warmer objects. The greater is the temperature difference, greater is the rate of heat transfer. Convection is the transfer of heat by the movement of air or fluid next to the body. Convection is aided by creating air currents around the body.
