To determine: The way through which the direction of blood flow around the water and salts is reabsorbed into the blood. As if the direction of blood flow around the nephron loop reversed.
Introduction:
The urinary system filters the blood and removes all the nitrogenous wastes and maintains ion concentrations of body fluids. Humans have paired kidneys that are major excretory organs in the body. The nephrons are U-shaped tubes. The filtrate circulates from proximal convoluted tubule into the nephron. The concentration of glucose, ions and other substances is lower in the nephron than their concentrations in the interstitial fluid. The nephron looses water to the tissues and many nephrons are embedded in those tissues. Then they concentrate the solute. .
