When a nursing student working in a well-baby clinic, a mother of a baby patient Ms. L ask the student nurse some advice. Ms. L asks the student nurse whether she should put her twin babies’ sleep with her and husband in their bed. She also states that it would be easier for her to breastfeed them in the middle of the night. Ms. L told she has read some articles about this and whether to follow this article. The nursing student did not how to respond and she remembers of sudden infant death syndrome. She makes her mind to find a way to respond to Ms. L.

The nursing student should tell the mother honestly that she still not got knowledge and experience but she ensures that she will be back with answers.
