To describe:
The structures and functions of conducting a portion of the human respiratory system.
Introduction:
The respiratory system is a biological system that ensures the transport of gases by the process of inhalation and exhalation, in and out the body with the help of lungs. The respiratory system is divided into two parts: conducting and gas exchange portion.
To describe:
The mechanisms of breathing and control of breathing rate.
Introduction:
Breathing involves the flow of air inside and outside the lungs to carry out the gas exchange between alveoli and blood. This process is mainly carrying of oxygen from alveoli to the blood and to other tissue cells and expulsion of carbon dioxide from blood to alveoli and finally to atmospheric air.
