Mr. S. was a 63-year-old college professor who came to the office for a yearly check-up. He feels healthy and he didn’t take any medications. The only problem he discussed with the prescriber was about his difficulty in sex life. After the examination and assessment, Mr. S. was prescribed sildenafil (Viagra).

The only problem he discussed with the prescriber was about his difficulty in sex life. After the examination and assessment, Mr. S. was prescribed sildenafil (Viagra). Eleven months later, he was admitted to the emergency department with the chest pains and he was diagnosed with coronary artery diseases. He was prescribed isosorbide dinitrate.
