Develop a graphical user interface (GUI) in Java for a calculator that only supports division and multiplication. There should be buttons for turning it on and off, as well as clearing it.
Hello! I am working my way through this problem for my Introduction to Java Programming Course. I think I understand the majority of it but I am have a very hard time understanding and developing the bounding box methods. I have developed the Point, Shape, Rectangle, Triangle and Circle classes but I am lost on how to calculate the bounding box coordinates for each of the hierarchy shapes. If someone would be kind enough to walk me through and explain this program, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you kindly!
Problem #5:
Create a Point class to hold x and y values for a point. Create methods show(), add() and subtract() to display the Point x and y values, and add and subtract point coordinates.
Hint: Keep x and y separate in the calculation.
Create another class Shape, which will form the basis of a set of shapes. The Shape class will contain default functions to calculate area and circumference of the shape, and provide the coordinates (Points) of a rectangle that encloses the…
Write a java program that may pass for a Basic Calculator with a graphical user interface and OOP paradigm. Your calculator should have functions for: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, modulo, exponent function(^). Use oop technique and create a class called calculator that provide unique method body for each problem. Thus, your class should have six different method for these (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, modulo, exponent function(^)) and use the GUI for user interaction.

- Java problem. While out on a standard run we notice that our radar is picking up someone following us. In the hopes of losing them, we look for a nearby debris field to hide in. We notice one not too far away, but we need to make sure that we can get to the middle of the debris field to be properly hidden. Our radar shows the debris field in 2D, so we can visually check if we can make it to the center, but that takes too long. We want a program that will let us know if there is a path from the outside of the debris field to the center. In order to solve this problem, we must think recursively. Create a recursive algorithm that determines if a path exists from the outside of the debris field to the center. The debris field is always square (n by n) and n will always be greater than 1, and always odd. You can enter the debris field from any of the outside spaces, and you simply need to return true if a path exists, and false if a path does not exist. For movement you can only go up,…arrow_forwardIn java ,there are two ways of achieving abstraction, one is abstract class and another is interface. Can you differentiate them..arrow_forwardQuestion: Your task is to find the number of ways that you can put those brackets in such a way that they will be always balanced after taking the n pair of brackets from the user in Java Language.arrow_forward

Only one source file will have a main() method and this source will be named BlackjackGameSimulator.java. Other source/class names are up to you following the guidelines specified so far in the course. The format of the Java source must meet the general Java coding style guidelines discussed so far during the course. Pay special attention to naming guidelines, use of appropriate variable names and types, variable scope (public, private, protected, etc.), indentation, and comments. Classes and methods should be commented with JavaDoc-style comments (see below). Please use course office hours or contact the instructor directly if there are any coding style questions.
