Explanation of Solution

Every part of the female reproductive system is specialized for performing a specific function. Ovaries houses immature follicles out of which one follicle matures each month and reaches the uterus through the uterine tube. The uterus prepares itself to carry the baby during pregnancy. It opens into a vaginal orifice through the vaginal passage. Vaginal orifice is covered by labia minus and labia majus. It is an important region that takes part during sexual intercourse and makes way for sperms to reach the egg. Inferior to the uterus, lies a muscular sac known as a urinary bladder that holds the urine until a surge to urinate is received. The urine is passed out through a tube known as the urethra. Above the urethral opening, a small muscular and highly sensitive clitoris is present which is also known as the female penis. Pubis or pubic bone is present below the abdomen which is responsible for protecting urogenital organs.
