Summary Introduction

To review:

The reason for shoots of mutant plants lacking differentiated endodermis to respond to gravity normally.

Introduction:

The response of a plant toward the gravitational pull is called geotropism or gravitropism. Roots of plants respond positively toward the stimulus of gravitational pull. This means that the cells of the roots move toward the direction of gravity. The shoots of the plant, on the other hand, respond negatively to this stimulus. This means that the cells move in the opposite direction of gravity.

Roots, stems and leaves have become modified in a variety of ways over evolutionary time.describe any two actual modified plant structures, including their function and whether they are modified roots, stems or leaves.
Flowering plants have both tracheids and vessel elements in their xylem. Conifers, which evolved earlier than flowering plants, have tracheids only. Do these differences in xylem structure help explain the difference in the success of these two plant groups? Explain your answer.
Plant roots have devised in such a manner that they can control over the ions that enter into the water conducting tissue system. Write the location and chemical composition of specific region of plant roots, which make it possible and briefly discuss its importance.
