To compare:The results of the differential white blood cell count with the normal values.

Introduction:

The blood consists of cells and plasma. Red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets are the types of cells present in the blood. There are five types of white blood cells and they can be categorized as granulocytes and agranulocytes. Granulocytes consist of neutrophil, eosinophil and basophil. Agranulocytes consist of lymphocyte and monocyte. The percentage of each of the various types of white blood cells present in a blood sample can be determined by differential white blood cell count.
