During the rehabilitation, Mrs. S expresses her feeling of stress and the nurse includes the patient discussion in her assessment. During the rehabilitation program, Mrs. S had lost some weight and she has doubts like how to schedule exercise daily to maintain weight and to lose weight in the future.
Explanation of Solution
The nurse should give an exercise schedule based on her cardiac pump effectiveness, her level of tolerance, and her level of fatigue that is associated with her work as well as with the exercise. Based on the outcome, the nurse suggests 20 minutes of exercise two times a week for the next two weeks.
The nurse suggests initial of 20 minutes of exercise that should be done for two times in a week for the following two weeks. This would be the best intervention for Mrs. S to avoid her stress and the amount of exercise she needs.
