Bank Charges
A bank charges $10 per month plus the following check fees for a commercial checking account:
$.10 each for fewer than 20 checks
$.08 each for 20-39 cheeks
$.06 each for 40-59 checks
$.04 each for 60 or more checks
The bank also charges an extra $15 if the balance of the account falls below $400 (before any check fees are applied). Write a
Input Validation: Do not accept a negative value for the number of checks written. If a negative value is given for the beginning balance, display an urgent message indicating the account is overdrawn.

- (Simulation) Write a program to simulate the roll of two dice. If the total of the two dice is 7 or 11, you win; otherwise, you lose. Embellish this program as much as you like, with betting, different odds, different combinations for win or lose, stopping play when you have no money left or reach the house limit, displaying the dice, and so forth. (Hint: Calculate the dots showing on each die with the expression dots=(int)(6.0randomnumber+1), where the random number is between 0 and 1.)arrow_forwardPrompt Problem: A company wants a program that will calculate the weekly paycheck for an employee based on how many hours they worked. For this company, an employee earns $20 an hour for the first 40 hours that they work. The employee earns overtime, $30 an hour, for each hour they work above 40 hours. Example: If an employee works 60 hours in a week, they would earn $20/hr for the first 40 hours. Then they would earn $30/hr for the 20 hours they worked overtime. Therefore, they earned: ($20/hr 40hrs)+($30/hr 20 hrs) $800+ $600 = $1400 total. For this assignment, you must create pseudocode and a flowchart to design a program that will calculate an employee's weekly paycheck. - Write pseudocode to design a programming solution by outlining a series of steps and using appropriate indentation and keywords. As you write your pseudocode, be sure to consider the following: What input does the computer need? What steps does the program need to follow to process the input? What output should…arrow_forwardExercise I- Medicine Write a program that asks the user to enter the name of the medicine (t for ThroX, f for FeliX), his mass. The user should enter as well if he has a prescription or not. The program will calculate the dosage using: age and his ThroX without prescription -The max dosage should be 0.75 mL -The dosage = mass / 150 -The number of pills per day to take is 1 ThroX with prescription -The dosage =mass * 3 / 150 -The number of pills per day to take is 5 FeliX with prescription -The dosage = 0.77 mL FeliX without prescription -The dosage should be between 0.3 and 0.7 -The dosage = mass * 0.009 -The number of pills per day to take is 2 -The number of pills per day to take is 6 The program should display the dosage and the number of pills to be taken per day if the requirements are full filled, otherwise it display "Please check your doctor for a prescription". In case the medicine does not exist in the database, the program display “Your medicine is not in our database!"…arrow_forward
- Challenge Problem python G U E S S T H E N UM B E R Write a program that plays a guessing game with the user. The program should have the right answer set to 13, then prompt the user repeatedly to guess the number from 1 to 25. When the user guesses incorrectly, the game should give the user a hint about whether the correct answer is higher or lower than the guess. Once the user guesses correctly, the program should print a message showing the number of guesses that the user made. Note : This assignment involves the use of a while loop and if-else decision making controls. You CANNOT use the reserved keywords break and continue for any portion of this program or any program for that matter throughout this course.arrow_forwardRetail price calculator Write a program that asks the user to enter an item’s wholesale cost and its markup percentage. It should then display the item’s retail price. For example: • If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item’s retail price is 10.00.• If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item’s retail price is 7.50. The program should have a method named calculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item.arrow_forwardPart 4 Add this comment: # Ass 1: Part 4 Write a program that generates a random number in the range of 1 through 100, and asks the user to guess what the number is. If the user's guess is higher than the random number, the program should display "Too high, try again." If the user's guess is lower than the random number, the program should display "Too low, try again." If the user guesses the number, the program should congratulate the user by displaying "You won, congratulations.". Samplel: Please enter your guess value: 10 Too low, try again. Please enter your guess value: 15 Too low, try again. Please enter your guess value: 30 Too low, try again. Please enter your guess value: 50 Too low, try again. Please enter your guess value: 60 Too high, try again. Please enter your guess value: 55 Too high, try again. Please enter your guess value: 53 You won, congratulations. Sample2:arrow_forward
- 1. Write a program that lets the user guess whether a randomly generated integer would be even or odd. The program randomly generates an integer and divides it by 2. The integer is even if the remainder is 0, otherwise odd. The program prompts the user to enter a guess and reports whether the guess is correct or incorrect.arrow_forwardQustion number 1 please, in paython language.arrow_forwardTime CalculatorWrite a program that asks the user to enter a number of seconds.-There are 60 seconds in a minute. If the number of seconds entered by the user is greater than or equal to 60, the program should display the number of minutes and leftover seconds in that many seconds.-There are 3,600 seconds in an hour. If the number of seconds entered by the user is greater than or equal to 3,600, the program should display the number of hours, minutes, and leftover seconds in that many seconds.-There are 86,400 seconds in a day. If the number of seconds entered by the user is greater than or equal to 86,400, the program should display the number of days, hours, minutes, and leftover seconds in that many seconds.arrow_forward

The program should take as input the previous balance on the account and the total amount of additional charges during the month. The program should then compute the interest for the month, the total new balance (the previous balance plus additional charges plus interest), and the minimum payment due. Assume the interest is 0 if the previous balance was 0 but if the previous balance was greater than 0 the interest is 2% of the total owed (previous balance plus additional charges). Assume the minimum payment is as follows: new balance for a new balance less than $50 $50.00 for a new balance between $50 and $300 (inclusive) 20% of the new balance for a new balance over $300 So if the new balance is $38.00 then the person must pay the whole $38.00; if the balance is $128 then the person must pay $50; if the balance is $350 the minimum…arrow_forward
