Body Mass Index Program Enhancement
In
BMI = weight × 703/height2
In the formula, weight is measured in pounds and height is measured in inches. Enhance the program so it displays a message indicating whether the person has optimal weight, is underweight, or is overweight. A sedentary person’s weight is considered to be optimal if his or her BMI is between 18.5 and 25. If the BMI is less than 18.5, the person is considered to be underweight. If the BMI value is greater than 25, the person is considered to be overweight.

- C# Language(WinForm Application) In this exercise, you complete an application that determines whether a person qualifies for a loan. To qualify for the loan, the person must earn a salary of at least $40,000 and must have been employed at his or her current job for at least 2 years.arrow_forward9. Trivia Game In this programming exercise, you will create a simple trivia game for two players. The program will work like this: Starting with player 1, each player gets a turn at answering 5 trivia questions. (There should be a total of 10 questions.) When a question is displayed, 4 possible answers are also displayed. Only one of the answers is correct, and if the player selects the correct answer, he or she earns a point. After answers have been selected for all the questions, the program displays the number of points earned by each player and declares the player with the highest number of points the winner. To create this program, write a Question class to hold the data for a trivia question. The Question class should have attributes for the following data: A trivia question Possible answer 1 Possible answer 2 Possible answer 3 Possible answer 4 The number of the correct answer (1, 2, 3, or 4) The Question class also should have an appropriate _…arrow_forward9. - Rock, Paper, Scissors Game Create a application using (C#) in Microsoft Visual Studio that lets the user play the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors against the computer. The program should work as follows.1. When the program begins, a random number in the range of 1 through 3 is generated. If the number is 1, then the computer has chosen rock. If the number is 2, then the computer has chosen paper. If the number is 3, then the computer has chosen scissors. (Do not display the computer’s choice yet.)2. The user selects his or her choice of rock, paper, or scissors. To get this input you use clickable PictureBox controls displaying some of the artwork that you will find in the student sample files.3. The computer’s choice is displayed.4. A winner is selected according to the following rules: •If one player chooses rock and the other player chooses scissors, then rock wins. (Rock smashes scissors.)•If one player chooses scissors and the other player chooses paper, then scissors wins.…arrow_forwardPopulation Tracker Learning Objective: Using Python Repetition and Loop Statements Problem Description Write a Python program (Console and GUI) that predicts the approximate size of a population of organisms. The application should use text boxes to allow the user to enter the following information: starting number of organisms, the average daily population increase (as a percentage), and the number of days the organisms will be left to multiply. For example, assume the user enters the following values: Starting number of organisms: 2 Average daily increase: 30% Number of days to multiply: 10 The program should display the following table of dataarrow_forwardC++ Visual 2019 A particular talent competition has five judges, each of whom awards a score between 0 and 10 to each performer. Fractional scores, such as 8.3, are allowed. A performer's final score is determined by dropping the highest and lowest score received, then averaging the three remaining scores. Write a program that uses this method to calculate a contestant's score. It should include the following functions: void getJudgeData() should ask the user for a judge's score, store it in a reference parameter variable, and validate it. This function should be called by main once for each of the five judges. void calcScore() should calculate and display the average of the three scores that remain after dropping the highest and lowest scores the performer received. This function should be called just once by main and should be passed the five scores. The last two functions, described below, should be called by calcScore, which uses the returned information to determine which of the…arrow_forward
- Magic Dates The date June 10, 1960, is special because when it is written in the following format, the month times the day equals the year: 6/10/60 Create an application that lets the user enter a month (in numeric form), a day, and a two-digit year. The program should then determine whether the month times the day equals the year. If so, it should display a message saying the date is magic. Otherwise, it should display a message saying the date is not magic.arrow_forwardText-based adventure game: Pretend you are creating a text-based adventure game. At different points in the game, you want the user to select to fight, run, or hide from certain enemies. Modify the application below (week3.py) so that the selection variable is sent as an argument into the choice() function. The user should enter 1 to fight, 2 to run, or 3 to hide in the main(). The choice() function should print one of the three options. You will need to add an if statement in the choice() function to make the correct selection.arrow_forwardCircle Properties Write a program that prompts for and accepts the diameter of a circle as a floating point number.
