Concept Introduction:
J.J.Thomson proposed that atom is divisible into smaller particles. Rutherford gave the atomic model of an atom which revealed that an atom consists of subatomic particles electrons, protons and neutrons. These subatomic particles carry charge and have certain mass which makes up the mass of the atom.
