To determine: Whether the given simple squamous epithelial tissue is the sample of the skin surface.
Introduction: A group of cells that perform a similar function and have similar properties is called a tissue. The study of tissues is known as “Histology.” Epithelial tissue is a type of tissue that lines the exposed surfaces, internal chambers, and has special cells called gland cells that are involved in secretions.
To determine: The reason why the given tissue sample cannot be the skin of sample surface.
Introduction: Simple squamous epithelium has thin, flat, and irregular-shaped cells present in the protected regions where absorption and diffusion take place.
