Chapter 43.3, Problem 4R
Summary Introduction
To review:
The difference between the gastrulation in reptiles and amphibians.
Introduction:
The cells of the blastula undergo complex movements to form the three germ layers: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm, from the outside to the inside. This process is known as gastrulation, and it leads to the formation of a structure known as the gastrula. It is also responsible for establishing the anterior-posterior axis of the body.
