Introduction:

Tapeworms also termed as Cestode is a member of invertebrates (example pork tapeworm, beef tapeworm, fish tapeworm, etc.). Tapeworms are distributed worldwide. They are of size about 0.04 inch (1mm) to more than 50 feet (15m). Tapeworms are those parasites that are found internally. They affect some invertebrates and digestive or liver tracts of the humans, other food animals (especially fish), and domestic animals. Others need 1 or 2 intermediate hosts and some need single or definite hosts to finish their life cycle. Cestodiasis, is a disease, which is caused by tapeworms.
