Chapter 44, Problem 8TYK
Summary Introduction
Introduction: The kidney serves as the major excretory system in the human body. The nephron which is the functional unit of the kidney plays an important role in removing of unwanted substance and reabsorption of essential nutrients. The osmotic gradient is essential for the nephron to do its excretion and reabsorption function. It is simply known as the differences in the concentration of two solutes or molecules on either side of the plasma membrane.
