Concept introduction:
Cancer cells are characterized by uncontrolled proliferation of abnormal cells, invasion, and metastasis. Cancer cells lack differentiation and maturation into specialized cells. Drugs, which are used to treat cancer is generally known as chemotherapeutic drugs or antineoplastic drugs. Cell cycle-specific antineoplastic drugs are used for the treatment of circulating or solid tumors. Mitotic inhibitors, topoisomerase I and II inhibitors, antineoplastic enzymes.
