Chapter 49.5, Problem 2CC
Summary Introduction
To explain: How the dopamine activity is related to Schizophrenia, drug addiction and Parkinson’s disease.
Concept introduction:
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter released by neurons in brain which send signals to other neurons. After its release into synapse, it binds with the cell surface receptors of other neurons and, activates them to exert their action. In the nervous system, it is essential for motor functions, executing functions, reward, and so forth.
