Introduction:

Along with many concepts given by Freud that were denied by Horney Oedipus Complex was the major one. In which a boy has sexual feelings for his mother because of sexual urges at that stage, but Horney had researched this concept and found that there is no such thing in reality rather it is just because of dependency on one parent.
