(a) The concepts of sexual differentiation and sex determination.
(b) Lygaeus and Protenor modes of sex determination.
Introduction:
Sexual Reproduction involves two members of the opposite sex. The fusion of gametes (sperm and ovum) results in the production of a zygote, which gives rise to a new organism. This organism possesses certain traits of its parents, but never resembles completely with them.
