Explanation of Solution

Digital footprint:

• One unique set of traceable digital actions, activities, communication and contributions that are manifested on the digital device or Internet are called digital footprint.
• The active and passive are the two classification of digital footprint.
  • The passive footprint can be stored in several ways depending on the condition. This footprint can track the user’s IP address and know when it was created and also knows that where it came after analyzing this footprint.
  • The active footprints are made when own data is released purposely by a user for the purpose of sharing info about oneself via social media or websites.

Calculation of personal digital footprint:

After downloading the tool from the given link, this tool will ask some questions and determine the rate of personal digital footprint.

First give the first name of the user in the textbox. Then click “START” button.
