Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Altruism is the selfless behavior shown by an individual that encourages it to help others. As per Hamilton’s rule, an altruistic gene can spread in a population only when the product of fitness benefit (B) to the recipient and coefficient of relatedness (r) between the altruist and the recipient is greater in comparison to the fitness cost (C) to the altruist (Br>C). It is given that the value of r is 0.5.

Take a look at an adaptable landscape with several fitness peaks. Why does a population of, say, a virus like SARS-Cov2 never evolve the best phenotype for a particular environment? Under what conditions may a population transition from one local fitness maximum to another?
The five different predator phenotypes will be represented equally at the start of the simulation.  Do you think the distribution of phenotypes will change throughout the simulation?  Explain your response.
If '+' sign is assigned to beneficial interaction, '-' sign to detrimental and '0' sign to neutral interaction, then the population interaction represented by '+' '-' refers to what?
