The procedure of testing the hypothesis that the most important contribution to the baroreceptor reflex arose specifically from the carotid artery baroreceptors.
Introduction:
The pressure of the blood has to be maintained to supply enough blood to the heart for the supply of oxygen and to remove carbon dioxide from the bloodstream. The removal of baroreceptors can disturb the pressure by maintaining the homeostasis mechanism of the body. The baroreceptors present in the blood vessels help to determine the blood pressure as well.
