Introduction: The host and parasite populations are related to each other. Generally, the parasite population size increases with the increase in the host population size. However, there may be instances where the parasite population may decrease with the increase in the size of the host population. Change in physiological and environmental conditions also affects the parasite population. They can either decrease or increase with these changes.
