Introduction:

Humans and animals are complex organisms made up of collection of cells that perform a specific function. These collections of cells are often called tissues. Tissues arise from an embryonic origin and perform a specific physiological and structural role in an organ.

Transportation is an important function of cells that allow the nutrients to be transported across the plasma membrane of cells. Cell junctions are important factors in tissue cells that allow the transport of the nutrients and wastes from the blood streams.
