Chapter 6, Problem 1FIB
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Microorganisms are broadly classified into two groups depending on the carbon source. The organisms which utilize inorganic carbon molecules as their sole source of carbon are known as the autotrophs. The organisms which utilize the organic molecules (carbon source) obtained from other organisms are known as the heterotrophs. Apart from the carbon source and energy source, organisms also need electrons.
