The nurse extern finds that 44-year-old patient Mrs. M, who had recently undergone surgery for uterine cancer is not treated properly. The patient also developed postoperative complications. The patient and the patient’s family are unhappy due to the lack of answers from their surgeon. Hence, the nurse extern acts herself as the nurse advocate in order to advocate for her patient.
