Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The tensile test needs to be differentiated from an impact test. The reason for the difference in the toughness values measured from impact and tensile tests needs to be explained.

Concept introduction:

Tensile test also called tension test in which tensile force is applied on the material which causes stress into the material. In the impact test sudden force is applied on the material.
