Concept introduction: Infection is the result of a foreign organism in the body. Influenza is a type of viral infection in which the lower respiratory tract and the upper respiratory tract are affected. The infection caused by influenza is mild and it gets severe from the secondary bacterial infections. RNA is the genetic material present in the influenza virus.
