Chapter 6.3, Problem 30STE

Define a function called copyLine that takes one argument that is an input stream. When called, copyLine reads one line of input from the input stream given as its argument and writes that line to the screen. You should be able to call your function using either cin or an input-file stream as the argument to your function copyLine. (If the argument is an input-file stream, then the stream is connected to a file before the function is called, so copyLine will not open or close any files.) For example, the first of the following two calls to copyLine will copy a line from the file stuff.dat to the screen, and the second will copy a line from the keyboard to the screen:

  ifstream fin;

  fin.open(“stuff.dat”);

  copyLine(fin) ;

  copyLine(cin) ;

Design and implement an experiment to test the performance of read and write functions. Write a function called "copyfile" that will copy one file to another using read/write functions. Your function should take three parameters: source file, destination file and the number of bytes to copy at time. The function should return the time taken to copy the file. Run this experiment using different number of bytes to copy(1, 3, 5, 7, ....) and record the time for each experiment. Plot the graph (time, number of byte).
Write a C++ function that meets the following specification.Name: wordFinderInputs: 1) input filename (string)2) pattern to find (string)Output: An integer representing the number of lines that contain the provided patternPurpose: The goal of this function is to open the file and read it line by line. In each line, you want to see if the pattern exists. If it does, then a counter should be incremented. If the file is unable to be open for any reason, a -1 should be returned. Otherwise, the number of lines containing the pattern should be returned. Assuming line is a string variable that holds the current line and pattern is a string variable holding the pattern to check for, the following code will determine if the pattern is in a string holding the current line:if (line.find(pattern) != string::npos)//Then the pattern is in the lineelse//The pattern is not in the line
