To explain: The risk of transmission of HIV to men versus women.
Concept introduction: Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a medical condition that involves a set of severe symptoms caused by the infection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). HIV is a causative agent for the development of AIDS. Once entered, HIV virus remains in the body which cannot be completely eliminated by the immune system. Individuals develop AIDS after several years of HIV infection.

Concept introduction: High-risk sexual practices are the sexual activities that increase the probability to pass on sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS, genital warts, genital herpes syphilis, chlamydia, and so on.
