Write the expression for the equality of the gravitational force on Phobos exerted by mars and the centripetal force to be in the circular motion.

Write the expression for the gravitational force.

Write the expression for the centripetal force.

FC=mv2r

Substitute GMmr2 for FG and mv2r for FC in equation (1).
