Create a class SubstitutionCipher that implements the interface MessageEncoder, as described in the previous exercise. The constructor should have one parameter called shift. Define the method encode. So that each letter is shifted by the value in shift. For example, if shift is 3, a will be replaced by d, b will be replaced by e, c will be replaced by f, and so on (Hint. You may wish to define a private method that shifts a single character.)

You are going to add 2 method, areaDifference and perimeterDifference. Both methods take a doubleradius of a second circle and return the difference from the current circle. For example, if you create a Circle object with a radius of 4 and call areaDifference(3), you will return the diffence between the area of a circle with radius 4 and the area of a circle with a radius of 3. perimeterDifferencewould be the same. Make sure you create at least one Circle and test and print the results of your methods. in javaarrow_forward

- Create an interface MessageDecoder that has a single abstract method decode(cipherText), where cipherText is the message to be decoded. The method will returnthe decoded message. Create a class SubstitutionCipher that implements the interface MessageDecoder as described above. The constructorshould have one parameter called shift. Define the method decode so that each letter is shifted by the value in the shif. For example, if shift is 3, a will be replaced by d, b will be replaced bt e, c will be replaced by f, and so on. Hint: You may wish to define a private methodthat shifts a single character. Create a class ShuffleCipher that implements the interface MessageDecoder. The constructor should haveone parameter called n. Define the method decode so that the message is shuffledn times. To perform one shuffle, split the message in half and then take the charactersfrom each half alternatively. For example, if the messsage is "abcdefghi", the halves are "abcde" and "fghi". The shuffled…arrow_forwardWhich of the following cases is most like the adapter pattern? A. If you have an interface called Duck, and have many ducks that implement the duck interface. All of these ducks must have the behaviour “quack” but for some ducks, like a Mallard, this must result in a quack, where for a rubber duck it must result in a squeak. We decide to delegate the quack method to another interface, which can be implemented either in a concrete class that returns a quack or a concrete class that returns a squeak. B. None of these are like the adapter pattern. C. We have a large collection of Ducks. We want to look at them one by one and hear them quack. We write a piece of code that iterates through them all, and as we encounter each one, we have it invoke the quack method. D. If we have an interface called Duck. We need to give an object to a user that can quack like a duck. All we have is Turkeys. We create a special class that implements the duck interface, and to implement the quack…arrow_forwardWrite a ThreeWayLamp class that models the behavior of a lamp that uses a three-way bulb. These bulbs have actually four possible states: off, low light, medium light, and high light. There is a maximum capacity to the number of gold coins a leprechaun can store at any given time (the pot they store them in can only hold so many). The pot also holds a current amount. What does the LeprechaunGold object need to remember? Those are the instance variables. Provide a constructor that takes the maximum capacity as a parameter. The constructor initializes the instance variables (two of them).
